Please Consider MadeInAmerica.org This Giving Season
Christmas is a magical time of year when we get a chance to pause and to count our blessings. These past twenty months have been especially difficult for our country, our families, and our lives. Last Christmas, just twelve months ago, many activities were canceled, including church services and other longstanding traditions.
We also learned just how important it is to buy American-made products during this period. Of course, this means more quality jobs that support our families and loved ones and a more robust U.S. economy. We learned that with supply chain disruptions and the fact that many critical supplies – including food and essential pharmaceutical products are made overseas – that keeping the manufacturing of products close and local can also mean the difference between life and death. In short, we saw that “Made in America” has never been more important.
As you consider your charitable giving this Christmas season and end-of-year donations, we ask that you keep MadeInAmerica.org in mind. We are a start-up nonprofit focused on driving economic development and job growth by changing consumer behavior through education. Specifically, working with our U.S. manufacturing partners and coalition partners, we plan to drive a 3-5% shift in consumer behavior in the next five years.
Our approach includes:
Consumer Education Through Advertising
- National multi-media buy (TV & print)
- Exposure on external billboard
Consumer education through media engagement & promotion
- National & local media coverage with interviews and guest spots
- Social media marketing focused on Facebook and Twitter
- Direct consumer email
- Podcast Featuring “America Made Business Stories”
- In years 2 & 3, we will diversify our strategy for reaching different demographics.
Educational events & workshops
- Target manufacturing groups and chambers of commerce.
The United States has always been considered a unique, blessed place. As Ronald Reagan said, “America is a shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere.”
We are in trying times, and that’s nothing new for our shining city upon a hill. The time is now to focus our attention on building back this great country. That begins by returning to American companies producing goods and services for the American people.
Please join us today by contributing to MadeInAmerica.org and by taking our pledge to buy American products whenever possible.
Thank you, and may God bless you and your families this Christmas season.
